Japanese Title: Miyuki-chan in Wonderland
Genre: Yuri Fantasy
Length: 1 volume
Positives:
- None.
Negatives:
- More of a series of snapshots than a coherent story.
- Though the characters look decent, the streaky backgrounds everywhere ruins it.
- Other than the yuri subtext, I don’t see the point.
Miyuki-chan in Wonderland is a rapid-fire series of Miyuki’s dreams set in different fantasy worlds. It starts with Alice in Wonderland, then there’s Humpty Dumpty, a video game, CLAMP’s X, and the like. The twist here is that voluptuous women portray all the characters, which is a humorous representation of Miyuki’s lustful subconscious, but that’s it.
Unfortunately, the manga is too short, too rushed, to extract any enjoyment, unless you want to see the Cheshire cat as a sexy woman.
Art – Low
Characters are decent, but not the backgrounds. A bit repetitive.
Story – Very Low
The storytelling is too spastic to enjoy properly.
Recommendation: Don’t bother. Nothing worth seeing here.
